You become anxious when you’re hard pressed on all sides. When you are struck down, it can lead to worries about your future, leading to making even more mistakes. Although we are like jars of clay, we have the treasure in us, and so Paul said that we will absolutely never fail. The moment you confirn your identity as a child of God and know your worth, the forces of darkness will be bound. Although you may not possess power, God is all-powerful, and although you face persecution, you will not be abandoned. 2 Corinthians 4:7-8 It’s because the life of Jesus is within us, which resembles jars of clay. 2 Corinthians 4:10 Therefore, the moment you hold onto the Word of God and realize your commission, the culture of darkness will be bound. Following the carnal matters leads to failure. 2 Corinthians 5:16 You are a new creation who has been re-created through the Way of Salvation from the path of destruction. 2 Corinthians 5:17 You have been reconciled through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18 What kind of treasure do you possess?
1. The Treasure of Life
It’s the treasure of life that the Triune God gives. God planted His own image within us Genesis 1:27 and breathed the breath of life in us. Genesis 2:7 Moreover, He gave the complete blessings of Eden to us as well. Genesis 2:18
2. The Treasure of Salvation
It’s the treasure of salvation that was promised since the time of the Garden of Eden. You’re no longer afraid of the impending problems because of the offspring of the woman, Genesis 3:15 the ark of salvation, Genesis 6:14 the blood sacrifice, Exodus 3:18 Immanuel, Isaiah 7:14 and Christ. Matthew 16:16
3. The Treasure of the Watchman
It’s the treasure of the watchman that saves the world. God has revealed to you the Bartizan, Journey, and Guideposts that will save the world. Thus, you simply need to come to your conclusion in Christ. You’re a witness to that.
Paul, who knew of this, spoke boldly of God’s Kingdom. Acts 19:8 In Genesis 18:17 it records, “Shall I hide from Abraharn what I am about to do?” In Exodus 3:18-20 it states, “Go into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God. I will be with you with my mighty hand.” Joshua 1: 1-9 states, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.” God’s great plan was also within the many crises David faced 1 Samuel 16:1-13 as it will be the same for you as well.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, may You grant a significant challenge that inspires me to face the future with courage. Amidst persecution, confusion, and sufferings, may I see the treasures. As I see the works within the Bible, may it become a week where I receive new answers. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
