Joseph’s brothers initially tried to kill Joseph but later decided to sell him as a slave. As Joseph was taken as a slave, he arrived at the house of Potiphar, the captain of the guard. That’s where a crucial chapter in Joseph’s life began. Re-creation took place in that field. If you don’t have the answer of re-creation, there’s no way to survive. If you don’t know the answer of re-creation, you’ll spend your entire life serving the world and unbelievers. 90% of people don’t realize the great blessings that are right before them while the remaining 10% often insist something will work when it won’t. You must absolutely ask what God’s absolute plan is. This is the prayer of all prayers. No matter what the circumstance, if you discover God’s plan, you’ll be triumphant and will endure anything that comes your way. Then you’ll experience that God is truly alive and answers you as you become a witness. If that’s so, what exactly is the answer of re-creation?
1. Re-creation Through the Fulfillment of the Prophesied Word (Genesis 39:1-2)
God first gave to Abraham the Word that would be fulfilled. When Abraham firmly held onto the Word, that Word was fulfilled. Genesis 15:6, 18:17 When Joseph was facing hardships, he accurately held onto God’s Word regarding world evangelization as he entered into prayer. Genesis 37:1-11 Because he held onto God’s absolute plan, he was able to transcend his brother’s standards and the standards of the slave market.
2. Re-creation Through the Word that Transcends Time and Space
When God’s Word takes hold, it gives you the power to transcend and even embrace the limitations of your circumstances. Thus, the works regarding the Throne, the Kingdom of God, and the works pertaining to the Kingdom of God will arise. That’s why you mustn’t be deceived when you face hardships.
3. Re-creation Through the Word that Reveals a Sure Future (Genesis 39:3-5)
Even Potiphar, a nonbeliever, saw the Lord was with Joseph and made everything he did succeed. Because Potiphar saw how the Lord protected Joseph, he showed favor to Joseph and made him the overseer of his entire household.
Potiphar saw God was with Joseph; the Immanuel of God being together with Joseph in his meetings with people; and the Oneness of God being together with Joseph in whatever he did.
Dear God, help me enjoy the blessings of re-creation like Joseph wherever I go. In whatever crises I face, help me see Your absolute plan and become a witness to the works of Word fulfillment May this week's Word become life in every place I go so that people may be saved through it. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
