Challenge against Financial Dependency

Genesis 26:12~24 And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. (12~13)

The members of the three organizations have already seized the finances of the world through the Third and Fourth Industrial Revolutions. Church officers of the Bible always held onto the covenant and received the economy of light through God’s plan and power. What kinds of financial answers will church officers receive?

1. The Economy of Offerings
Most believers don’t have the leisure to give offerings. They make financial plans in order to make a living in this society, but they don’t make plans for church offerings. Abraham, who had victory in war, gave tithes to God(Genesis 14:14~20). Obadiah prepared his finances to the point of being able to feed 100 missionaries in an age of crises(1 Kings 18:1~15). The works of saving the world arose through the offerings of financially stricken believers(Acts 2:43~45). Church officers were the main figures who prepared the economy of light.

2. The Economy Reserved for the Evangelism Movement and the Next Generation
God gives the blessings of “only,” “uniqueness,” and “re- creation” to the businesses of church officers and makes it so that nobody can block or replicate them. Thus, God allows the blessing of evangelism and missions to church officers. This is the economy of Darakbang. Finances that began in Mark’s upper room conquered even Rome. The Early Church received answers to the point of giving nine-tenths(90 percent) of their income as offering. In addition, you must see the outlook of the future and raise Remnants to challenge toward the Fourth Industrial Revolution, cultural enterprises, and biotech businesses.

Paul and his team prepared their finances to save Rome. Prior to this, they made the mystery of the Gospel that was already prepared before creation as their own. When you concentrate on God, you will be able to see the answers of “24 hours,” “25 hours,” and “eternity” that God has prepared ahead of time.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, in the midst of concentrating on the God-given Gospel, may You restore the economy of light that is used for evangelism and missions. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

[Deep Questions] Q. What Is the Economy of Offerings?

The Story of Elder Yang Bong-hwa

When Kim Il-sung left the church in North Korea and created his own political party, his cousin Elder Yang Bong-hwa ran away. He thought that it would be for just a short time, so he didn’t take money with him. However, he did take his hymnal and the financial ledger of the church. Ultimately he was unable to return. Elder Yang Bong-hwa’s success was guaranteed because he was Kim Il-sung’s cousin. Yet, simply to protect his faith, he crossed over to South Korea.

Because he owned so many buildings, he had to hire workers just to manage them. There was also a deacon who managed only the real estate properties. He wasn’t your average everyday person. Among the properties he owned, the highest rent among the buildings was unconditionally given as offering. In his house, he had a special ledger that recorded the offerings he had given to help missionaries and churches. The elder didn’t tell me this, but I personally saw that ledger. Someone told me that even major conglomerates who were in need of quick funds would come to this elder for money.

To what extent did God bless this person?

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
