The Flow That Blocks Disasters
Acts 27:24~25 “...saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.’ Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.”

Paul met a gale at sea which was a disaster. That was when God gave the Word to Paul and promised to save his life. There is a flow that blocks disasters. How can you block impending disasters?
1. The Flow of the Gospel and the Word
When you possess “only Gospel,” (Genesis 3:15, Exodus 3:18, Isaiah 7:14, and Matthew 16:16) you can block disasters. The Gospel broke down the authority of darkness. Paul who realistically held onto this Gospel evangelized Rome. If you follow the flow of the Word, the Word will come to you as an answer. Joseph did not become a governor out of the blue. It was the fulfillment of the Word. (Genesis 45:1~5) Those who were within the flow of the Word transformed the world. (Rahab, Daniel, Esther, David, and Elisha)
2. The Flow of Globalization
Evangelism and missions are the flow of globalization. From the beginning, God gave Abraham the flow of globalization. (Genesis 12:1-3) Because the Israelites did not understand evangelism and missions, the Word had to be fulfilled through their slavery, captivity, and colonization. God said that no matter what happened, the end would come after the Gospel was preached to all nations. (Matthew 24:14)
There is a point where God’s Word is fulfilled. Even if you forget the past, you mustn’t forget the covenant. This will be connected to the covenant of today and emerge as the covenant of the future. (Romans 16:25~27)
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, within the flow of the Gospel, the Word, and globalization, help me to become the main figure who blocks disasters and saves the church. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

[Deep Questions]
Q. Am I the Main Figure to Save the Church?
There was a church I served when I first became an assistant pastor. I remember a deacon who was the same age as me.
The church was undergoing construction, but the church officers did not lift a finger. Then, an ordained deacon had a discussion with his wife about giving church construction offering. Eventually, they sold their house and moved to a place where they paid monthly rent. They gave the money they received from the sale of their house as an offering. That deacon’s father was an elder of the church. The father was surprised to learn that his son sold the house that he had bought for him. In fact, the elder was quite wealthy. However, he was someone who never gave an offering. The actions of his son caused the elder to come to a realization. This also influenced the entire church. The ordained deacon and his wife’s act of giving the offering wasn’t important. Their devotion and attitude touched my heart greatly.
You don’t need to pray for anything else. You just need to stay behind as the main figure who will save the church.
“I will become a businessperson who saves the church. I will leave behind my monumental footprints in the church.”
Continuously pray in this manner.
