Life Resolution - The Evangelist’s Resolution

2 Kings 2:9~11│ When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me.” And he said, “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.” (9~10)

The demon-possession movement that has taken over the world causes people to become seized by Satan and evil spirits and leads them into Original Sin. The world doesn’t know this and cannot stop it. Seeing the spiritual reality and what God had prepared in the most difficult time, Elisha sought a double portion of spirit and the five powers. Even now, God is preparing Remnants who possess the Gospel, the answers of Babylon, and the works that took place after the Early Church.

1. The Previous Evidences Seen by Elisha
By looking at the stream of the previous covenant, you can confirm important answers and evidences. During the age of Egypt, works took place through Moses and Aaron and everything was restored during the 40 years in the wilderness. During the time when Philistia ruled, the Mizpah movement took place through Samuel the priest. And through Elijah, you’ve read about the battle on Mt. Carmel, the covenant of Mt. Horeb, and the works that took place at the Jordan River. As you can see, more than anything else, you need a double portion of spirit which has already been prepared for you.

2. The Evidences of That Day and Afterward
Elisha wanted and received a double portion of spirit that was incomparable with anything else. Following the answers of the 7,000 disciples, the Dothan movement began in earnest. The stream of this covenant was relayed from Elisha to Isaiah to Haggai to Ezra to Peter then to Paul and became connected to the evangelism movement that saved the age. Starting now, it’s important to enjoy the “you who are inside of Christ” and the Covenant Journey. Ultimately, it’s vital to relay these to the posterity.

The answer of healing those without life because they’ve never heard the Gospel and the answer of making them into the Summit will undoubtedly unfold.

Dear God, may the true blessing of continuing the stream of the Gospel, evangelism, and missions begin for me today. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
