NOVEMBER 30 TUE
You Must Save Those Who Have Failed
Joshua 2:1~16│ For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction (10)

In this world, works that happen through will and effort rarely occur. There are those who say that they believe in God, but make one-sided prayer requests before Him. Also, repeated failures can lead to frustration and discouragement. It may sound like someone else's story, but it may also be your own. God wants you to realize what is important in situations where nothing might take place. What can that be?
1. Those Who Saw Absolute Impossibility
There are times when you face situations where everyone shakes their heads. Moreover, no matter how positive your thoughts may be, you won’t be able to deny that you’re at the bottom. There will also be moments when you have unspeakable pains and face crises that are beyond help. In the midst of those hardships, there will be those who tell you that everything’s going to be okay, but won’t come forward and resolve your problems. This is the harsh reality of the world.
2. Those Who Saw Absolute Possibility
There was something more significant than the seemingly impossible crossing of the Red Sea. God promised in advance that He would use Moses to lead the Israelites across the Red Sea. Moses who was convinced of this covenant did exactly that. There was a person who heard that news, and it was Rahab. She believed in the rumor, risked her life to hide the spies, and asked for God's salvation. Through Rahab, who saw the absolute possibility, God accomplished His works and later, saved Rahab and her family.
God not only saved you, but He still gives His Word to His children and fulfills it. If you’re faced with an absolutely impossible reality, you need to hold onto the God’s Word even more.
Dear God, please help me not to be deceived because of my situations and environment. Even in the midst of failures, lead me to once again hold onto Your Word. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Does “Setting” Mean?
It’s the placement or new arrangement of objects in consideration of aesthetic relationships with surrounding objects and for the purpose of work.
Meditate on God’s Word and continue setting up your life! Just as bricks are piled on top and on the side by applying cement in between that hardens to build a strong house, a spiritual system that will never collapse is set up by accumulating time that focuses on continuous daily meditation on the Word and prayer. All the work that you do which include your studies and business, your duties at church, and the tasks for world evangelization will naturally roll in harmony and become balanced like perfectly laid bricks.
