Sometimes you contract unexpected diseases and fall into conflicts and problems. Those are opportunities to hold onto the commemorative covenant which is a blessing that others will find out and the blessing that you’ll pass on to the posterity. Then, in order to enjoy that blessing, what must you do?
1. Draw a Picture of the Covenant and Enjoy It
Within assured faith, if you hold onto the covenant, the throne will move and the works that transcend time and space will begin. Even if there is only one person who enjoys this, the light will come upon the
237 nations. In Joseph’s case, when Israel was in its greatest crisis, he saved the nation and restored politics and economy by holding onto the covenant. Genesis 37:1~11 If you, like Joseph, draw a concrete picture of the covenant, we you’ll enjoy the blessing of becoming a sign for individuals and an eternal monument for the posterity.
2. Relay the Covenant to the Posterity
The covenantal baton that Jochebed held onto was relayed to the Early Church through Moses, Samuel, and David. If the delivery of the covenant ceases in this present age, the posterity will inevitably suffer and become distressed in the world because they are unaware of spiritual problems and spiritual blessings. You must keep in mind that the relaying of the covenant is the mission that God desires the most.
The priests didn’t move until the Israelites finished building a monument. Likewise, you, who are called as the priest of the field, should not be shaken even when difficulties arise; instead, we must be able to see God's absolute plan.
Dear God, help me to live the life of a priest who saves the field and testifies of the commemorative covenant to the posterity. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Is the Commemorative Journey?
You’re still crossing the Jordan, going around Jericho, and walking through the wilderness. You’re on the Covenant Journey toward the land of Canaan which is world evangelization. It’s a path where you cannot go on alone and must be accompanied by God.
God wants you to pass on all of the spiritual works that you experienced along the way, God's protection, blessings, and the covenant to the posterity. If you’re a child of God, this is a mission and not an option.
Then, what kind of monument will God be pleased with? Today, meditate on a memorial offering that only you can relay.
