After Samuel listened to God’s voice, Samuel’s words never fell to the ground. Likewise, when Abraham held onto the covenant and built an altar, every answer followed. Because you can’t see answers immediately, all you have to do is remain inside the stream of the Word and not be deceived by the environment. Then, what blessings will you see?
1. Evangelism That Blocks Spiritual Disasters and Crises The Israelites faced confusion when the Ark of the Covenant was taken away and Prophet Eli died. However, spiritual disasters and crises that came upon the Israelites didn’t last long. That was possible through Samuel, who, in prayer, always listened to God’s voice. Ultimately, the Israelites retrieved the Ark of the Covenant. Conversely, because the Philistines had taken away the Ark of the Covenant, disasters came upon Philistia.
2. God’s Absolute Plan That Saves Souls
Through Samuel’s prayer, wars that took place in Israel ceased. Moreover, it became peaceful, and the evangelism movement that saved souls began. Likewise, the evangelist’s prayer has the power to fulfill God’s Word and change the destinies of individuals. Similarly, you are the evangelist who has been called as a Nazirite. If you enjoy 24-hour prayer in your given field, the power of being moved by God's Spirit will be established, and you’ll accurately see the future based on the Word.
Evangelism is the work that changes destiny. Because God works in all things, evangelists must enter 24-hour prayer for the destiny of individuals, family lines, and the nation.
Dear God, help me to remain within 24-hour prayer, and use me to save souls through the power of being moved by Your Spirit. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* Do You Know This Hymn?
Jesus calls us, o'er the tumult of our life's wild, restless sea, day by day His sweet voice soundeth,
saying, "Christian, follow Me."
Jesus calls us from the worship of the vain world's golden store,
from each idol that would keep us, saying, "Christian, love Me more."
