A Life That's Like Hell - The Evangelization of Today

Ephesians 2:1-7 / "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus," (4-6)

Hymn #135 Oh, How Sweet the Glorious Message (Unified Hymn 133)

God has given the complete Gospel. However, there are many people who can't enjoy it because they're already rooted in Genesis 3; 6; and 11, Me family scars, and personal spiritual problems. Consequently, when they go to church in that state, they face trials and only see both small and big problems. As a result, they fall into conflicts; can't overcome the atmosphere of the church; and waver in the face of crises. Regardless, those issues shouldn't matter. The thought, "There's going to be a great problem," is just an uneasy prediction that comes from the unbelief that they originally had. Even for you, who must be rooted in the Gospel, will lose hold of the Gospel once again. Although he was unfairly sent into slavery and prison, those incidents had nothing to do with Joseph. For David, he didn't care about King Saul, who had been harassing him for decades. Now, you must also change reality into answers and blessings. How can you do that?

1. Answers and Thanksgiving

Within the reality of today, you must find answers. You just have to find them to the point where thanksgiving emerges.

2. Renewal and Yielding

Today, you can meet various conflicts. During those times, you just need to have renewal enough to yield. Having renewal to the point of yielding means that you've seen something more important.

3. Opportunities and Challenges

Finally, make today into an opportunity. You must change opportunities to the point of seeing them as challenges. For David, his enemy wasn't King Saul, but Philistia. In fact, it wasn't even Philistia. David's enemies were the forces of darkness. That's why he prayed a lot to overcome darkness.

If the Triune God is with you, darkness won't only be bound, it'll be cast out. Wherever David went, darkness fled. During those times, God sent the angel of the Lord to David and fulfilled His works. By finding and enjoying all these blessings, everything will be seen as a springboard.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you giving me the complete Gospel. Please help me enjoy and be rooted in this Gospel to the point where I can change both today and reality into all answers and blessings. Armed with the power of this Gospel, help me find answers to the point of giving true thanksgiving. Help me to have renewal to the point of yielding. Please guide me so that I can make all things into opportunities and help me see "only Gospel." In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
