That Evangelism - Evangelism That Takes Place

 

Acts 13:1~3 Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.

  Problems may come to you. Those problems are an opportunity God has prepared for you to enjoy the blessings of evangelism. If you look for the real answer, you can receive God’s grace and enter into the blessing of evangelism to share it. This is when the blessing of evangelism, that God is truly and really with you, begins. The 7 Remnants in the Bible, apostles, seventy disciples, and people of the Early Church enjoyed this blessing. Even now, God is working in your church, fields, and the places you must go. What must you be able to see?

 

1. A Disciple of Absolute Answers
  You already possess the absolute answer that God has given. Christ who was victorious on Mt. Calvary, called you to the Mt. of Olives and promised the covenant of world evangelization(Acts 1:1~14). When the people who held onto that covenant gathered together, God gave the answer of Mark’s upper room(Acts 2:1~47). God led them to the church that would do world evangelization(Acts 11:19~30). This is the blessing that God’s absolute disciples who received the absolute answer will most certainly receive.

 

2. An Absolute Field That God Guides
  God guides an absolute disciple like you to the absolute field, so that you can overturn the idolatrous culture that has dominated the field until now. This is the field where only an evangelist can enter. This is not a field where people can go just by attending church, or by being as powerful as a Pharisee. God will most certainly send you and your church into fields such as these.

 

3. An Absolute System That God Has Prepared
  God has prepared an absolute system. The place of prayer that God blesses(Acts 1:14), the answer of the day of Pentecost that He promised(Acts 2:1), the blessing of entering into deep prayer in solitude(Acts 3:1) are the same answers that the Early Church received. Through Stephen’s persecution, the scattered ones relayed the Gospel(Acts 11:19), missions’ teams were formed(Acts 13:1), God’s plan of opening closed doors were discovered(Acts 16:6-10), and the promised Word of, “I must also see Rome”(Acts 19:21) were all answers. Because God has called you as the spiritual commander, your past becomes your platform and the blessing of standing as a person to save the future will begin.

 

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, thank you for raising me as the person who will restore the Gospel in this age where evangelism is disappearing. Please use my work and everything I do as You desire.
