Israel and World Evangelization

God blesses His children because of world evangelization. However, children of God fail because they do something else. If you don’t know this fact, you’ll feel proud when blessings come and hurt or resentful when you fail. That’s why God fulfilled world evangelization through the few who knew this fact. How did God do world evangelization through Israel?

1. Israel’s Blessing
It was natural that God blessed Israel. He gave Israel twelve tribes for world evangelization, and through them, He fulfilled the evangelization of Egypt. Furthermore, He evangelized the whole world through Egypt. Eventually, He led the Israelites out of Egypt, and on the wilderness path, God gave them answers centered on the Tabernacle.

2. Israel’s Failure
Israel’s failure contained an inevitable blessing. The Israelites made the tools of the Tabernacle and made the same for the temple.The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Temples Even though all the tools of the Tabernacle explained Christ, the Israelites had lost hold of the covenant of Christ. Outside the temple, there were no courts for Gentiles, Remnants, or prayer. God has no choice but to work in churches that restore these areas

God changed Jacob’s name to Israel at the Jabbok River(Genesis 32:23~32). However, the Israelites lost hold of that meaning. True Israel refers to those who possess the new covenant(Hebrews 8:8). God has fulfilled the absolute covenant to those who know its meaning(Rahab, Ruth, and Nathanael).

Dear God, help me to remain in the Covenant Journey of world evangelization with rightful, inevitable, and absolute blessings. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
