God Who Prepares a Place of Worship for His Chosen People

Why does the Bible only emphasize not to worship idols? Worshiping idols causes Satan, demons, and the forces of darkness that are completely unseen to manifest. By knowing this mystery, the church must take on its proper role and guide believers to lead a walk of faith without being deceived.

1. The Proper Spiritual Mystery
Satan seized the powerful nation of Egypt and overturned the entire world. Jochebed was the only one who accurately saw that situation. Her son Moses, who from a very young age heard the Gospel, and along with his older brother, Aaron, broke down the plagues of Egypt and led the Israelites through the Exodus. As you can see, even if one or two people know the spiritual mystery, problems will be resolved.

2. The Mystery of a Proper Church
You must build a church where spiritual mysteries are properly relayed, where all idols are destroyed, where the name of the Lord abides, and disasters are averted. You must give burnt offerings, vow offerings, free offerings, cattle and sheep, and tithes to the church. In other words, you must grab hold of the covenant of Christ that completely defeats Satan. Furthermore, you must relay this covenant to the posterity.

Starting today, hold onto those three covenants and pray. Those who know these truths, churches that correctly enjoy, and the posterity who knows those mysteries will overcome the world.

Dear God, help me to become a person who knows and enjoys the spiritual mysteries in order to save the church and the posterity. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

* Who Was Rev. Joo Gi-cheol? November 25, 1897 ~ April 21, 1944

Rev. Joo Gi-cheol was the representative figure and an independence activist in the movement to reject shrine worship during the Japanese colonial period.

Along with Rev. Son Yang-Won, he is one of the most respected pastors in Korean church history. Rev. Joo fiercely refused to visit shrines and vehemently campaigned against it.
For his rebellion, Rev. Joo was sentenced to ten years in prison by the Japanese imperialists and was martyred while serving his sentence.
