2 Kings 2:9-11 / When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied. (9)
Hymn #184 Come, Thou Burning Spirit, Come (Unified Hymn 173)
Evangelism disciples must first know the "system of 24." Not knowing "prayer 24" is in fact, being ignorant of prayer itself. As the pilgrims traveled, they constantly prayed in the name of Christ and repeatedly did deep breathing. By enjoying "prayer 24," your soul and body will be healed, and you'll gain tremendous power as well. Moreover, you'll ride the streams of prayer and evangelism. Within this, prayer topics that lead you deeply will be made. For Obadiah who hid 100 prophets, if it weren't "24," then it would be impossible to do so. By enjoying the blessing of "prayer 24," you'll be able to see the stream. Then, what kind of stream will be seen?
1. The Stream of the Age of Egypt Will Be Seen
The most important aspect during the age of Egypt was saving the posterity. (Exodus 2:1-10) Jochebed had no choice but to be inside of "prayer 24." Ultimately, it led to a tremendous result (blood sacrifice and the Exodus) where Moses did the works of Exodus 3:1-20. Also, Jethro; (Exodus 18:1-25) Joshua; and the figures of Numbers 14:1-10 like Caleb were those who enjoyed this 24-hour prayer.
2. The Baton of This Prayer Was Relayed to the Age of Monarchy
Because Samuel (1 Samuel 3:1-19) always enjoyed prayer, answers emerged within problems, and he was at peace. Then, he relayed this blessing of prayer to David (1 Samuel 16:1-13) who later confessed that he wasn't afraid even though he walked through the valley of shadow of death. Others who inherited this from Samuel were Obadiah (1 Kings 18:1-15) and Elisha. (2 Kings 2:9-11) Afterward, through Elisha who received a double portion of spirit, the Dothan movement arose. (2 Kings 6:8-23) Facing death, Daniel did "as he had done before"; gave thanks; kneeled before God; and earnestly prayed.
3. This Was Relayed from the Age of Captivity to the Early Church
During the age of captivity, figures like Daniel; Esther; and Mordecai enjoyed 24hour prayer. Later, this was relayed to the Early Church. In particular, Paul's point regarding 24-hour prayer was none other than the synagogue. (Acts 17:1, 18:4, and 19:8)
When you do 24-hour prayer, a system for you and your occupation; the church and evangelism; and the posterity and seminary students will be made. Your greatest blessing is the fact that God is with you 24 hours every day.
Dear God, I've received the greatest blessing of You being with me 24 hours every day. Help me to start the 24-hour prayer that enjoys this mystery. Through this, may I gain true healing and true strength in order to save the world. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
