The Blessing of the Church Position That Must Be Restored – a Commander of the Spiritual Battle
Ephesians 4:11~12 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ

God gave the principle source of blessings to the positions inside the church. In order to especially enjoy the blessings of the position of being a church officer, you must engage in spiritual war. The spiritual battle mentioned here refers to the last mission the resurrected Jesus gave to His disciples. Church officers are active commanders who engage in spiritual battle and carry out this mission until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Paul stated that your fight was not of flesh and blood.(Ephesians 6:12) How must you engage in the spiritual fight?
1. The Weapon of Spiritual War – the Complete Gospel(Genesis 3:15, 6:14, Exodus 3:18, Isaiah 7:14, and Matthew 16:16)
The weapons of spiritual war are the complete Gospel and Christ. Satan doesn’t fear your possessions, level of education, or skills. He fears “Only Christ.” Therefore, if church officers go into all places with the weapon of the complete Gospel, Satan will kneel and all the forces of darkness will crumble. Victory is bound to come. Thus, the spiritual battle is essential for church officers because there is no victory if you don’t fight.
2. The Heavenly Army
When you engage in the spiritual battle, God mobilizes His heavenly army. This was true for the Israelites when they stood before the Red Sea. God sent His angels ahead and safely protected them from behind.(Exodus 14:19) In addition, God sent His heavenly army to Elisha, who was fighting the spiritual battle.(2 Kings 6:8~24) Even when King Hezekiah prayed, an angel of the Lord came and struck down the Assyrian army.(2 Kings 19:35) Likewise, when you hold onto God’s Word and strive to fulfill His will, God sends His heavenly army to all places of His dominion.(Psalms 103:20~22) David held onto this as his covenant and enjoyed God’s protection.
3. The Battle That Has Already Been Won – an Ambassador of Christ
You simply need to engage in battle. The spiritual war is a battle that has already been won. Because God has sent church officers as ambassadors of Christ, they are bound for victory in spiritual war. The conquest of Canaan was God’s covenant that had already been promised. The confrontation at Mt. Carmel was also a battle that had already been won. It was the same for the conquest of Rome. Therefore, church officers must remember the fact that they are spiritual commanders and ambassadors of Christ who bring about God’s Kingdom.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, help me to restore the blessings of my church position. May Satan kneel and the forces of darkness crumble in the fields where church officers go as spiritual commanders engaging in spiritual war.
