The New Frame That God Has Prepared 

 

Joshua 2:8~15 Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that, as I have dealt kindly with you, you also will deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a sure sign that you will save alive my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death.” And the men said to her, “Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the Lord gives us the land we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.” (12~14)

  As you worship God, He moves the army of angels to fulfill the covenant. As you pray, the power of the Throne emerges, revealing your identity and authority. As you can see, you are already in a different frame. Rahab also knew and entered into the safest and most certain new frame of Jehovah God and received the blessing of standing in the line of world evangelization. What must you do in order to receive this answer?

 

1. Being Within the Flow of Evangelism That God Carries Out
  For Joseph, going to Egypt as a slave was God’s plan to evangelize Egypt. Through Moses who had failed, carrying out the Exodus through him was also God’s plan. Rumors of what God had done in the wilderness were relayed to those in Canaan. Those rumors were enough to break down the darkness that existed there. Finally, the Israelites entered Canaan and received the blessings of standing as witnesses of the Living God and relaying Christ to the entire world.

 

2. Within the Covenant
  Rahab who was already within the covenant heard all the rumors. After the Passover and the Exodus, she heard about God’s amazing works and believed. She also knew that conquering Canaan was God’s plan and believed in His power and salvation. She confessed that there was no one else but God who controlled the Heavens and earth. Rahab’s meeting with the two spies was already inside of God’s absolute plan for fulfilling world evangelization.

 

3. Within the Future
  Rahab already knew that she was in the future. She asked the spies to save her and her family when Jericho was taken. She tied a scarlet cord in the window to let the spies know. Then in accordance with Rahab’s faith, the wall of Jericho fell, and only she and her family were saved. The subsequent answer that Rahab received was truly astounding. She became an ancestor of King David and entered the genealogy of Christ. Today, those exact works have been prepared in the field.

 

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, may I hold onto and remain in the correct covenant that will never sway. I will grab hold of the covenant that will never be shaken by Satan’s attacks and walk the Covenant Journey.
