A Prepared Disciple, Prepared Time Schedule, and Prepared Event

Joshua 6:21~27 But Rahab the prostitute and her father’s household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And she has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying, “Cursed before the Lord be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. “At the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.” (25~26)

  The history of mankind has continuously changed and developed. Nevertheless, there is something that never changes. It is the fact that man is created by God in His image. However, Satan deceives and attacks, so that man is unaware of that fact. Satan led man, who was content with God, to leave Him and to face the disaster of the Tower of Babel in the midst of the state of the Nephilim. Only the Gospel can restore that state. When you hold onto this covenant, what answers will follow?

1. A Prepared Disciple
  When you restore the image of God through the Gospel and enter into the blessing of evangelism, you will meet a prepared disciple. When the Israelite spies who came to the answer through the Gospel entered the field, they met the prepared disciple, Rahab, who was a prostitute. Rahab wasn’t only connected with Joshua and Caleb through the covenant, she also became their protector. That wasn’t all. She also relayed important secret information and helped their faith become stronger. Through Rahab, the spies received the answer of gaining strength.

2. A Prepared Time Schedule
  When you hold onto the covenant, you will enter into God’s time schedule that will unfold in the future. When Moses held onto God’s covenant, ten miracles took place. Moses entered into God’s time schedule of changing the culture of Egypt. In the midst of this, Moses experienced God’s works when the Egyptian army drowned in the Red Sea. God led the posterity who were rooted in the covenant in the wilderness into the time schedule of the Jordan River being split. Those who held onto the covenant were able to confirm the answer of the fall of Jericho.

3. A Prepared Event
  If you hold onto this covenant and pray, you will enjoy the blessing and eternal answer of 25 hours and receive the answer of saving the 237 nations through that prepared event. Rahab was a witness of this. All the people in Jericho were destroyed. Rahab knew this fact beforehand and held onto the covenant. The faith of this one person, Rahab, saved her entire family. Thereafter, Rahab was able to stay in the land where the Israelites stayed. At last, through the blessing of meeting, she even received the blessing of being in the genealogy of Jesus.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, open my spiritual eyes so that I may not be deceived by what is wrong. Help me to hold onto Your covenant and enter into the prepared answer.
