Lesson 7. Challenge the New Conflicts (Phil. 4:6-7)
When the Israelites, who had been slaves, came out of Egypt and crossed the Red Sea, all their sufferings from Egypt ended. They no longer needed to suffer their past afflictions in Egypt. However, they faced a new kind of hardship. This was because they had to go to the Promised Land, Canaan.
In order to enjoy the blessings in that land, they had to endure new hardship as training and descipline. In the same way, you must persevere and overcome hardship by faith. After we become Christians, we face this new kind of hardship that engenders new conflicts. We must challenge these new conflicts with faith.
