Lesson 10. Prayer is a Spiritual Science

1. Promise concerning prayer.

2. Prayer is a spiritual science.
(1) when we pray, the Spirit condescends upon us.
- Lk. 11:13
- Acts 1:14, 2:1-4, 4:29-31, 13:1-4, 16:6, 13.
(2) When we pray, God's heralds (angels) are mobilized.
Heb. 1:14, Mt 18:10, Acts 12:1-10, 27:22-24
(3) When we pray, unbelief vanishes.
- Guard our heart and mind (Phil 4:6-7).
- Don't lose heart but pray to the end (Lk. 18:1-8)
- Satan's power, the source of unbelief, crumbles (Mt 12:28-29)
(4) When we pray, the answer is granted.
- James 1:5-8
- Phil 4:7

3. How should se pray?
(1) With a specific topic. Mt. 7:7-8, Lk 18:1-8.
(2) Designate a time. Dan. 6:10, Acts 3:1, 16:13, 23-31
(3) Designate a place. Acts 1:12-14, 12:1-19.
(4) Together with other people of prayer. Mt. 18:19-20
