In the past, there was a false religious belief that if you gave a lot of offering and did good deeds, you could receive forgiveness of sins and go to Heaven. At that time, Martin Luther revolted against the corrupt church and proclaimed that “the righteous will live by faith.” If the church fails to relay the accurate Gospel, then it’s only a matter of time before disasters strike. Therefore, one person who knows the value of the Gospel and possesses the covenant is precious.

1. Samuel's Prayer
None of Samuel's prayers fell to the ground. To that extent, Samuel was a person who had no choice but to communicate with the heavenly throne and have all his prayers fulfilled. When you’re filled with God’s image and the living Spirit, those around you will come to know of them naturally, and God’s Kingdom will come upon the field. From that point on, true power will emerge and you’ll gain the power to heal.

2. David's Praise and the Temple Construction
Samuel delivered the blessings and answers that he had received to the Israelites and the posterity. After that day, a miracle occurred when all Israelites gathered and turned to the Lord. That was the Mizpah movement. A greater answer was discovering a disciple like David who was moved by the Spirit of the Lord. Every day, David praised God and received the answer of preparing for the temple that God desired the most.

Because of Samuel and David, wars ceased and church disasters were prevented. Even if there’s only one person who knows the Gospel, prayer, and the value of the temple, God will restore the world.

Dear God, please restore the true church. May I be used in the work of saving the world and fill my soul with “only Holy Spirit.” I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
