Everyone will encounter limitations. No matter how faithfully you work, you’ll face difficulties. Even if you live honestly, you’ll face spiritual hardships. Because humans are spiritual beings, they must obtain strength from above and have a source of inner strength to survive. How can you attain that power?

1. Focus on Three Points
Giving answers spiritually is the most important and priority for welfare. All people must meet God because they’ve been created in His image. If they leave God and cling to what’s incorrect and wrong, they’ll never be able to live happy lives. If they meet God and the fundamental problems of their lives become resolved, there must be a process to heal their diseased hearts and the disorganized state of being unable to concentrate. It’s also imperative to support their cost of living, provide places to work, and opportunities to learn.

2. Helping Others to Become Independent
Although supporting them regarding basic living is rightful and necessary, it’s more important to help them stand up on their own. If they enjoy the Gospel through worship, their hearts can be healed and their lives can be altered when they change their minds. They can also be freed from the environment that seems fixed and the background of their family and family line that seems inescapable. The best form of welfare is helping people become independent. With the strength given by God from above, you must be revived first.

When you restore and enjoy this perfect blessing which is God’s image on a daily basis, you’ll meet people around you who need the Gospel and those who need healing in their hearts and minds.

Dear God, may Your Word be deeply planted in my soul. Help me to live through the authority and power of the heavenly throne. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The meaning of welfare is none other than “a happy life.” If you look in Korea University's Korean dictionary, it states, “a condition in which good health, a prosperous life, and a comfortable environment are harmonized to enjoy happiness.” Spiritual health, the health of the heart and mind, and the healing of daily lifelife and environment are all conditions for a happy life.

“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 John 1:2

The Word can be a clear definition or explanation of welfare.
